Master Kim has devoted his life to teaching traditional taekwondo for more than 40 years.
Master Kim, 7th dan, of Korean origin and born in Seoul in 1967, has been teaching traditional taekwondo for over 40 years. His approach focuses on self-defense, discipline and personal development, allowing each student to progress both physically and mentally.
He personally teaches every day alongside his instructors, ensuring high-quality supervision and faithful transmission of his knowledge.
A former member of the Belgian national team and military elite athlete, he participated in the 1987 World Championship in Barcelona. He started teaching at the age of 16 in 7 clubs, including Knokke and Bruges. He was then called to military service, which he completed as a military elite athlete in taekwondo while continuing his sporting career at the highest level.
With the same conviction and dedication, he still works tirelessly today for the transmission of taekwondo as his main activity, both within the Academy and in many schools.
His vision is to offer every student long-term opportunities for growth by encouraging continuous learning, openness and respect for the fundamental values of taekwondo.
“Teaching built on discipline, respect and passion.”
