A Passion Dedicated to Teaching
We offer up to six days of taekwondo training per week.
Master Kim, 7th Dan, of Korean origin and born in Seoul, has been teaching with dedication for over 40 years.
His instruction focuses mainly on Martial Taekwondo, with a strong emphasis on self-defense in realistic situations, efficiency, self-confidence, respect, and discipline.
His teaching approach allows each student to develop not only their physical abilities but also their mental strength and self-assurance.
Master Kim personally teaches classes each day, alternating between clubs and schedules, together with his carefully trained black belts.
A pioneer of taekwondo in Belgium, Master Kim has continuously promoted this martial art throughout his career.
Each of his ranks was obtained before a Korean jury, ensuring the authenticity and rigor of his achievements.
Today, our academy has clubs in Uccle, Braine-l’Alleud, Saint-Gilles, and Forest, as well as several partner clubs that have joined the Academy: Herstal (Liège), Forest, Orp-le-Grand, and Dubai.
Our Values
Respect, discipline, and rigor are the core principles of our academy.
We place great importance on the social and educational aspects, promoting multicultural diversity (origin, religion, social background).
This diversity is one of our greatest strengths and assets, fostering human experiences, mutual respect, and social cohesion.
Master Kim – His Experience
A former member of the Belgian national team and participant in the World Taekwondo Championships in Barcelona (1987), Master Kim began teaching at the age of 16, across seven clubs reaching as far as Knokke and Bruges.
He was later called to military service, which he completed as a taekwondo elite soldier, all while continuing to compete.
Today, he continues to teach with the same passion and dedication, passing on his knowledge both within the Academy and in various schools — his main professional activity.
Our Academy has produced several Belgian champions and around thirty black belts.
His vision is to open as many doors as possible for students to meet their goals — both present and future — by offering access to competitions, federation training programs such as the Adeps Certificate, referee and coach training, and by encouraging participation in seminars and camps organized by other clubs or federations.
He places great importance on ensuring that students continue learning and develop independent thinking.

Our Exams
Exams are held within the Academy. The Dan grades awarded by Master Kim are official and internationally recognized, as they are issued by the Kukkiwon in Seoul, to which we are directly affiliated.
Since 1972, Kukkiwon has been the world headquarters governing, standardizing, and regulating all official taekwondo techniques and national federations, in cooperation with the World Taekwondo Federation (WT).
Master Kim continues to train in Korea, regularly updating his knowledge to ensure total transparency and fair progress for every practitioner.
Our goal is also to provide equal opportunities to all students — whether in teaching, refereeing, participating in grading panels, attending international seminars, or completing global instructor training.
Our Classes
Accessible from the age of 5, our classes are generally divided into four age groups: Children – Aspirants – Juniors – Adults.
The annual membership offers complete flexibility and unlimited access to all classes corresponding to each age group across our clubs.
Training camps are also organized throughout the year.
